So sore :( Lock Rss

Are there any quick ways to help get rid of them? I have two at the top of mouth where the top of my gum meets the inside of my lip.. One on either side and they are so sore, I can't laugh or smile without being in pain and eating is hard too lol.. And I have two tiny ones on the side of my left cheek, not sure why I suddenly have a few, I don't normally get them a lot. It's been about 3 days so far and no signs of improvement and I'm getting sick of it hurting all day. Panadol etc doesn't help!

hi, i put bonjella on mine when i get them. takes away the pain. they are horrible and often caused by stress.

i find salty stuff helps get rid of them. hurts like hell but they go quicker.
rub a thick layer of normal vegemite on them and try not to lick it off so it sitts there. also gargle with salty water every few hours and lastly before bed rub on some garlic salt right into them its all stings like hell but works a treat i promise i get mouth ulcers so bad my lips and inside my mouth have scars from all of them over the years. its terriable i feel your pain

Thanks for all the tips, they're driving me crazy <img src='https://www.huggies.com.au/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' /> I'm going to go make some salt water.. Yum hehe

Make sure you are having enough vitamin B, berocca is great because it is a liquid that works locally as you swallow it too.

Also, if they have all come on suddenly and nothing is working, have you considered hand foot and mouth? Do you have any spots or dermatitis on your hands? My DD brought it home from daycare a year ago, and I got it too, the main symptom being really painful mouth ulcers...
DP has suffered terrible mouth ulcers his entire life and uses Kenalog in Orabase - its a pharmacy only ointment type stuff. It is quite expensive and comes in a tiny tube but lasts ages.

Its is a thick pasty kinda stuff and he applies it with a cotton bud.

He generally finds the ulcers improve after a couple of applications. They are still there and have to heal themselves properly still, but it helps to speed up the initial really painful stage.

This is what I do, the pain is bad for a short time, but it tastes yummy and it takes the ulcers away really quickly I find smile I love vegemite though, hehe

At the risk of sounding stupid, it really does actually help to have chips with extra salt (I can't gargle so gargling salt water isn't an option when I have ulcers). And yes, I do find KFC chips work the best.

True though. As long as you get extra salt on them smile
I've been told if they all come at once and lots of them it's a vitamin deficiency.

I havn't had them for ages since I started taking a multi-vitamin every day.

I had them all the time when I had braces in high school. What made it worse is the 'bars' that were on the sides of my bottom teeth would rub and cut them in half sad

I used bonjella and they would go away relatively quickly and ease the pain.

Good luck!

aha oh god u poor thing i get them all the time..i have two near the back of my throat at the moment.

so pretty much what everyone else has said..kill it with salt!!..vegemite..bonjella..salt water..

hope they go soon for your sake, they can drive you nuts.
