# childcare out of pocket expenses

hey guys,
i know what my ccb percentage is but i want an online calc or formulation that i can work out what my out of pocket expenses will be, does anyone kno?

If you know your percentage and how much it costs per day, than just work it out.

So for example if your percentage is 40%, and it costs \$60 per day then just work 40% of \$60 which is 0.4 x \$60 = \$24.

Centrelink have an online CCB estimator if you know what the childcare charges per day/session.

hey rachelsmummy - just so you know chick the CCB is only a percentage of the gov rebate that is paid to eligible services, the fee the service charge is up to them and varies from service to service. Just thought I would let you know in case you were wondering grin

I know this thread is very old but in case if some other mom is wondering how to calculate CCB or CCR you can follow the child care calculator at http://www.childcarecalculator.com.au/

This online calculator is not correct. For example, \$150,000 family income,1 kid in long day care for 48 weeks, 50 hours per week with fee of \$600 per week. The calculator shows the CCR is \$8,125. This is definitely incorrect as since June 2012 the CCR limit is \$7,500.
