Toddler Beds

I thought all babies and toddlers went from a cot straight into a single bed. What is the point of a toddler bed?

we put ava into a single sized bed a week ago. it is very low to the ground and it is excellent for ava!!!! we got it from super amart for 119.00 it is the 'astro' brand. ava loves it. ava is 15months atm and took to the bed very well! no hassels yet

i bought a lovley timber bed called the Toddler Sleigh Bed, i bought it from The Baby Superstore in Bundaberg, Qld ph 07 4154 4300 it's fantastic. it is the same size as a cot, so my innerspring cot matress fitted it ( and i didn't need to buy new linnen) and has side rails 1/2 the length of the bed and is low to the ground, Jesse loves it cost $250 and they can stay in it till around 30kg.

I saw some cute ones in Toys R Us the other day.
