I am a mum of three and my eldest 6 y/o is a bed wetter. We have just started to use the pad and bell system and he has had 2 weeks in row of dry nights. It works by waking up the child at the first feeling of moisture and sounds an alarm. As research has found that bed wetting is due to a breakdown of the message from the bladder to the brain while sleeping and can also be associated with deep sleepers (which my son is). There is heaps of info on bed wetting on the intetnet. Doctors will not normally suggest this system until age 6 +. Hope this helps some.
