For the last 36 hrs, I have noticed that my little girl (almost 22 months) is not having enough fluids and is doing less wet nappies.

I am trying to get a urine sample from her, but this is proving to be very difficult. Last night we spent almost 5 hrs in hospital trying to get a sample. The doctors tried to use the catheter, but she fought back and we said to stop because she was in so much pain.

I am getting very worried, because she is not drinking and thus not passing urine. We need the sample to test for UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) as she has had this before. The doctors have said that she does not appear to be dehydrated.

If there is a doctor out there, I need some advice, because I am stressing out and my little girl is picking up on this, thus making her condition worse.
