Crying in her sleep

My daughter is 6 1/2 months old & cries in her sleep.

Some nights I was getting up to her 11 times, but after giving her a 'rhubarb and soda mixture' for wind she only cries around 2 or 3 times a night.

The crying doesn't usually wake my baby, but of course wakes me. What could be causing this? Is it possible she is having nightmares?
