Yoghurt Lock Rss

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there's a real difference between the baby yoghurt and natural full fat youghut? Can I give my baby the normal full fat vanilla yoghurt rather than the baby yoghurt? He only likes the vanilla yoghurt, none of the other flavours.

Hi Sam

My child health nurse actually recommends giving babies natural full fat yoghurt as it is tatally safe and baby yoghurt is so expensive. However I think you need to be careful with flavoured yoghurt as most have sugar added to them. I give my son natural yoghurt with mashed banana or stewed apple mixed in, I also mix some in with his vegies sometimes and he loves it. Hope this helps.

The 'Jalna' brand is really good and without added sugar.
Thank you so much for your replies. I will try your suggestions. Baby yoghurt is really expensive, as he only likes the vanilla flavoured yoghurt I end up have the other flavours!!!

Thanks again.
