Help with solids Lock Rss

Hi everyone, my baby boy has been on solids for a few weeks now and is really enjoying it, he is now four months and I don't know how much to give him, i am scared I'll over feed him and also he is waking up anywhere between 2am and 4 am and getting really unsettled again. Does this mean he should have more solids????
Hi tina,

How much is he eating now???

Maybe he is ready to have two solid meals per day.

by the forth week of solids most babies eat about 1/2 a cup or 120 grams of solids per feed.

Babies go through stages when they will sleep really well and then othertimes be really unsettled.

if you need anyone to chat to my email addy is [email protected]

hi Tina

Generally speaking baby will stop when he has had enough so as long as he is still having his normal amount of milk I dont see why you couldnt give him another solid feed, if he doesnt want it then try again another time but its up to you as you know your baby best.
