baby or toddler? Rss

At what age do babies become toddlers? A silly question I know but one that I do not know the answer to! Hoping others can tell me what they think

Kelly,QLD, boy 23.01.03 and girl 08.04.05

I've always been told that babies become toddlers when they start to walk! Don't know if this is right! my first was only just 9 months when he was walking....to me he was still very much a baby not a toddler!

Hi Kelba,
Most babies become toddlers when they start to walk or toddle, but it is generally once they are 12 months of age. My son is 9 months old and almost walking, but to me he is still a baby. But then again, as he is my last baby, he will always be my baby no matter what his age. Hope this clarafies things a bit for you.
