Learn the Pool Buddies Song from Little Swimmers® swimpants

Become your child’s pool buddy!

Helping children become familiar with the water early is an important foundation for learning to swim. Huggies Little Swimmers® encourage you to get into the pool and be pool buddies with your little ones this summer.

Children are able to build water confidence more easily if their earliest water experiences are with someone they are close to. So, to help you start out, we’ve created a special pool buddies song for you to sing with your child and play together in the water.

The Pool Buddies Song

(sing to the tune of “I’m a Little Teapot”)

“Shoulders in the water, nose to the sky

(Child lying back on their parent’s shoulder)

Sit straight up, like there’s water in your eye

(The child is helped to sit up)

Fly around your partner, like an aeroplane

(Child held by parent in side position being whizzed around)

Then come into land, then do it all again."
