Just for fun
Combine your child’s comic ability and love of looking at themselves and what do you get? An adorable book.
Children can make some of the silliest faces when they’re not even trying – just imagine if they were trying! Combine your child’s comic ability and love of looking at themselves and what do you get? An adorable book that will make them excited to use the potty throughout toilet training so they can add to it each day.
Every time your child successfully goes to the potty or toilet, or has an accident-free day, have him make a silly face and snap a picture of it. Download the photo onto the computer and then print it out. Cut out the photo, using scalloped scissors for added flair, and glue onto a sheet of construction paper. Punch holes on the side and put inside the binger. Let your child decorate the front of the binder with markers and stickers, if desired.
Your child will love to watch his book grow and see all the silly faces he can make. Place several sheets of blank construction paper in the binder, and pick one that’s four or five pages away (or whatever number you choose) and place a gold star sticker on it. Tell him when he adds a picture to that page he will get a special reward. He won’t be able to wait to use the potty or toilet so he can add more silly faces to get to that special page!
