Just for fun
Build the excitement about wearing undies by taking your child on an underwear hunt!
During the toilet training process, it’s important to give children something to look forward to. What could be more exciting than wearing big kid underwear or panties? Build this excitement up by taking your child on an underwear hunt!
Plan the Adventure: This will be no ordinary trip to the mall. This will be a well-planned safari with the exotic character underwear on the list. Get your child excited by letting him dress the part. A camouflaged shirt, khaki pants, hat and some binoculars (maybe homemade ones made out of empty toilet paper rolls) are the perfect attire for this adventure. Plan the day. Pick the time. Have your child draw a map of the location to guide him along on his hunt. Then jump into the “safari wagon” and head to the mall.
Once you’re at the shops, let the hunt begin. Let your explorer find the underwear section in the stores. Sneak up on the unsuspecting garments and hunt down the ones that put a smile on your child’s face. Select one package, carefully have your child guide the captured undergarment to the “animal trainer,” pay her for her help and ask her to put his trophy into a bag for safe keeping. Then it’s off to the next store to do the same.
When the safari is over, take the “captured” underwear or panties home and put them in a special place for safe keeping. Tell your child as soon as he graduates from his Pull-Ups® Underpants, he can wear them and tell all his friends about his adventures.
