summary:
You don’t have to spend a fortune on toys for your kids to have fun. Try this clever bit of crafty recycling and get your kids to join in and make themselves a train, with carriages, and stations for the passengers.

We made a train using a WeetBix box, then made stations all over the house to
pick up passengers!- Rosie Kavanagh, VIC.
Equipment:
WeetBix box, 1 litre milk carton, egg carton, pipe cleaner, paint, paper, glue.
Directions:
Step 1: We made a train using a Weet Bix box and a 1 litre milk carton cut down for the engine.
Step 2: We made windows from construction paper, pasted foam wheels on (or you could use plastic lids) and then painted it.
Step 3: We used an egg carton for the passenger carriage, connecting it to the train engine using a pipe cleaner.
We have lots of fun making stations all over the house to pick up passengers!
