summary:
An easy and educational way to entertain your wee one and get him to flex his intellectual muscle.

Puzzles are a great way to develop your child’s problem-solving skills and enhance his attention span. Plus, they don’t have to be anything fancy to be enjoyable. Simply cutting a photograph, greeting card or other image, such as an animal, into four pieces will create an age-appropriate puzzle that’s a sure-fire way to entertain.
If you are using a picture from a magazine, be sure to glue it to a piece of cardboard to make it sturdy. Keep the pieces in an envelope stashed in your diaper bag so that you always have a fun way to distract your little one at a moment’s notice.
Family Focus:
Create a puzzle for each member of the family, so you can talk with your toddler about each person. This is great for pictures of out-of-town grandparents and relatives your child doesn’t get to see often.
