This activity will help Baby strengthen and develop these muscles:

Push, My Baby (Sung to the tune of London Bridge Is Falling Down)

Take your feet and push, push, push,
Push, push, push,
Push, push, push.
Take your feet and push, push, push,
Push my little baby.
Repeat several times.

Lay Baby on her stomach. Kneel down behind her and put your hands on the soles of her feet. When she feels your hands, she may try to bring herself forward by pushing her feet against your hands. Sometimes she may need a gentle push from you. While lightly pushing her feet, sing “Push, My Baby.”
