BA XR Leather Car Seats.....Wot were we thinking.... Lock Rss

Just curious if anyone else has a BA Xr with leather interior. I have never been happy with the way any of tahlia's seats have fitted. I have just finished turning her seat around and I'm still not happy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I can't say i know the ones your talking about, but i think the Ambos have a service where they fitt your restraints for you.

I feel for a bub in summer tho if the seat is leather.

OK. I probably didn't word this very well. Our Car is a BA XR (falcon) with leather interior. The back seat is sort of moulded and while very comfortable our babies car seat doesn't fit in it very well (neither her safe'n sound capsule or 0-4). Her seat isn't leather.

I will definitely enquire about getting some-one to help. Some-one said the red cross do it also?

Leather tho is great in summer. People don't think so but it's vinyl that's sweaty and yuck. We have plenty of 40 degree days and rather the leather than cloth (believe it or not)

leather is great in summer, almost cool, compared to cloth and especially vinyl,

I live in NSW and the RTA (road transport authptiry) has specialised fitting stations that custom fit child safety seats into all types of cars,
I guess SA would have an equivalent,

Hmmm... i guess the ford people were not really thinking about how well a car seat would fit in this car when they designed it, i spose its not really a family car.
but i dont think it has anything to do with the interior being leather.....

LOL sorry, my mistake, i was wondering why a childs car seat would be leather.
