Jasper's Space Room

Two year old Jasper loves stars and space so we decided to design his room around that theme. We wanted the theme to be able to last a few years, we didnt want it too babyish, also we wanted something which we could easily adapt and change as he grows up. I painted the feature wall a dark night sky blue, the stickers are actaully wallpaper, you simply wet them and apply, they are removable and when he gets over the theme we will remove them. I’m quite proud of the feature wall as I’ve never attempted anything like it before I’m also impressed that it cost under $100!
The furniture, rug, lamp and light are from Ikea. The linen and the wall clock are from kmart.
The groclock is to encourage him to sleep in his big boy bed and happens to fit the theme very well. His toy chest has been personalised with stickers. There are also glow in the dark stickers on the roof.
The only thing we plan on doing to his room in the future is to put in white plantation shutters.
