Father and son, Cory and Zac Hutchings are Pool Buddies Helping children become familiar with the water early is an important foundation for learning to swim. Triple World Surf Ironman Champion Cory Hutchings thanks his Nana for being his earliest ‘Pool Buddy’ and for teaching him to swim. Together with his two-year old son Zak and Huggies Little Swimmers®, Cory encourages you to get into the pool and be pool buddies with your little ones this summer.

Cory agrees that kids build water confidence more easily if their earliest water experiences are with someone they are close to.

So, to help you start out, we’ve created a pool buddy kickboard complete with a special pool buddies song for you to sing and play together with your child in the water.

How to claim

Collect 2 original barcodes from any Huggies Little Swimmers® swimpants packs.

Terms and Conditions

Huggies Little Swimmers® Brand Pool Buddy Kickboard Offer

1. Information on how to claim the HUGGIES LITTLE SWIMMERS® Brand Pool Buddy Kickboard forms part of these Conditions of Offer. A claim under this Huggies Little Swimmers® Brand Pool Buddy Kickboard Offer (Offer) is deemed to be an acceptance of these Conditions of Offer.
2. Offer commences 20 January 2010. Offer closes last mail received 31 March 2010, or when stocks run out, whichever is first. Claims are deemed to have been received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as to time of receipt.
3. There are 1000 Huggies Little Swimmers® Brand Pool Buddy Kickboards to be claimed. The Huggies Little Swimmers® Brand Pool Buddy Kickboard Offer comprises a kickboard, 46cm x 30cm in size, valued at $20.00.
4. Claims must be sent in a stamped envelope to: Huggies Little Swimmers® Pool Buddy Kickboard Offer, PO Box 56 612, Dominion Rd, Auckland 1446.
5. A maximum of 1 claim per household will be accepted.
6. Offer is only open to New Zealand residents who are members of the Mum To Be Club or the Huggies Baby Club. By entering this competition, members agree to receive Huggies® monthly newsletters including news, special offers and promotions from Huggies®. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, or agencies or companies associated with this offer, are ineligible to claim.
7. Valid claims must contain (1) two original barcodes from any Huggies Little Swimmers® packs (2) a completed official claim form.
8. The Huggies Little Swimmers® Brand Pool Buddy Kickboard cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. The value of the Huggies Little Swimmers® Brand Pool Buddy Kickboard is accurate at time of printing, and no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the Huggies Little Swimmers® Brand Pool Buddy Kickboard after that date.
9. Claimants should allow at least 3 weeks for delivery.
10. Any claim made with stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered barcodes or claim forms will be deemed void. The Promoter reserves the right to validate and check the authenticity of claims and barcodes, and to disqualify any claimant for tampering with the claim process.
11. The Promoter and its associated agencies or companies accept no responsibility for lost, late, stolen, damaged or misdirected claims.
12. The Promoter may dispose of any Huggies Little Swimmers® Brand Pool Buddy Kickboards remaining at the close of the Offer in any manner it determines.
13. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of receiving, taking or using the Huggies Little Swimmers® Brand Pool Buddy Kickboard except for liability which cannot be excluded by law.
14. Any tax liability arising as a result of receiving the Huggies Little Swimmers® Brand Pool Buddy Kickboard is the responsibility of the claimant.
15. If, for any reason, this Offer is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its discretion to modify the terms of the Offer including the Huggies Little Swimmers® Brand Pool Buddy Kickboard and these Conditions of Offer.
16. If any act or omission event or circumstance occurs beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Conditions of Offer, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation and the Promoter reserves the right (subject to applicable law) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Offer.
17. All claims become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter may use personal information for future marketing purposes, unless otherwise advised by the claimant. The Promoter may provide personal information relating to claimants to organisations that assist the Promoter with promotional, marketing and publicity activities. A claimant may access and correct any personal information held by the Promoter, upon request to the Promoter.
