Terms and Conditions
HUGGIES® Brand Classic Toys Offer 2011
1. Information on how to claim a 5 in 1 Activity Cube toy (Activity Cube) or Block Cart toy (Cart) (together Toys) forms part of these Conditions of Offer. Submission of a claim in this HUGGIES® Brand Offer (Offer) is deemed to be an acceptance of these Conditions of Offer.
2. Offer commences 29 August 2011 at 12:00pm NZST. Offer closes last mail received 4 December 2011 or when all Toys have been claimed (whichever is the earlier) (Offer Period).
3. Offer is only open to New Zealand residents who are members of the HUGGIES® Baby Club or HUGGIES® Mum To Be Club. Persons under 18 years, employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, or agencies or companies associated with this Offer, are ineligible to claim.
4. To claim a Toy:
(1) Collect:
(a) 12 original barcodes from any HUGGIES® Nappies pack, HUGGIES® Nappy-Pants pack or HUGGIES® Baby Wipes pack (HUGGIES® Product); and
(b) original receipt(s) evidencing purchase of at least two (2) separate HUGGIES® Products purchased within the Offer Period;
(or to claim 2 Toys collect 24 original barcodes from any HUGGIES® Products and original receipt(s) evidencing purchase of at least four (4) separate HUGGIES® Products purchased within the Offer Period);
(2) Obtain a Toy claim form (Claim Form) by:
(a) logging onto www.huggies.co.nz/classic and joining the HUGGIES® Baby Club or HUGGIES® Mum To Be Club (or log in if you are already a member), by downloading a copy of the Claim Form, complete the personal details information and print a copy of the Claim Form; or
(b) requesting a Claim Form be sent to you by phoning 0800 845 623;
(3) Complete all details requested on the Claim Form;
(4) Make payment of NZ$11.50 (for postage and handling including GST) if claim is for 1 Toy or payment of NZ$16.50 (for postage and handling including GST) if claim is for 2 Toys by:
(a) providing the claimant’s completed credit card details on the Claim Form; or
(b) attaching a cheque or money order payable to ‘Huggies Classic Toys Offer’ to the Claim Form. Note: cash will not be accepted.
(5) Send the completed Claim Form, original barcodes, receipts and payment in a stamped envelope within the Offer Period to ‘Huggies Classic Toys Offer’, PO Box 56 612, Dominion Road, Auckland 1446.
5. A maximum of 2 Toys, in any combination, can be claimed per household during the Offer Period. This can be made by 2 separate claims for 1 Toy or can be made by 1 claim for 2 Toys. Each claim must include the completed Claim Form, the required barcodes, receipts and payment. Each barcode and receipt is valid to claim 1 Toy only, and must be original. Claims for 2 Toys must be posted together in the one stamped envelope to obtain the postage and handling saving, and must include a completed Claim Form and the required original barcodes and receipts as outlined in Clause 4.
6. The Toy(s) nominated on the Claim Form as the first preference will be allocated to the claimant if it/they are available. If it/they are not available, the claimant will be allocated the other Toy(s) unless the claimant has indicated on the Claim Form that the claimant would not be happy to receive the other Toy(s). In this instance, the original Claim Form, money order or cheque and barcodes and receipts will be returned to the claimant by mail.
7. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as to time of receipt.
8. A total of 5,000 Activity Cubes and 5,000 Block Carts may be claimed. The Promoter will award a Toy for each valid claim received until all Toys have been claimed. The Activity Cube toy is valued at NZ $69.65. The Block Cart toy is valued at NZ $49.95. There will be a running tally of remaining Toys available to be claimed on www.huggies.co.nz/classic or by calling the promotional support line on 0800 845 623.
9. The Toy(s) are not transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
10. The Toy(s) cannot be exchanged or refunded at any retail outlet.
11. The value of the Toy(s) is accurate at the time of printing, and no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the Toy(s) after that date. The Promoter retains the right to substitute the Toy(s) with an alternative product of equal or greater value (including where the Toy(s) is unavailable).
12. Claimants should allow up to 9 weeks for delivery of the Toy(s).
13. The Promoter and its associated agencies or companies accept no responsibility for lost, late, stolen, damaged or misdirected claims. Any claim received by the Promoter after the close of the Offer or after all stock has been exhausted will be returned.
14. The Promoter may dispose of any Toys remaining at the close of the Offer in any manner it determines (including setting new conditions for claiming the remaining stock of Toys).
15. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of the Offer or receiving, taking or using the Toy except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16. If for any reason this Offer is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its discretion to modify the Conditions of Offer.
17. Any tax liability arising as a result of receiving the Toy is the responsibility of the claimer.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to validate and check the authenticity of claims, barcodes and receipts, and to disqualify any claimant for tampering with the claim process. Any claim made with stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with Claim Forms or barcodes or receipts will be deemed void.
19. In the event that a claim is received after the closing date of the Offer Period, the original Claim Form, money order or cheque, barcodes and receipts will be returned to the claimant by mail. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for money orders that cannot be cashed and the Promoter recommends that claimants, where applicable, retain money order stubs.
20. If any act or omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Conditions of Offer, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation and the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Offer.
21. All claims and entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter requires the claimant’s personal information in order to conduct the Offer. If the claimant does not provide the mandatory personal information requested then the claimant will not be able to take part in the Offer. By entering this Offer, each claimant is taken to consent to the Promoter using the claimant’s personal information to administer the Offer and disclosing the claimant’s personal information to organisations that assist the Promoter with administering the Offer, and to third parties as required by law. The Promoter is bound by applicable privacy laws and by entering the Offer, the claimant is taken to consent to the Promoter’s privacy policy (which is available on request). By entering into this Offer, each claimant also consents to the Promoter using their personal information for future marketing purposes, unless otherwise advised by the claimant. A claimant may access and correct any personal information held by the Promoter, upon request to the Promoter.

Q. When should I send in my claim?
A. You should send in your claim form as soon as you have collected your barcodes and receipts. The offer closes last mail on 4 December 2011 or when all 10,000 toys have been redeemed.
Q. Can I send in receipts instead of barcodes?
A. No, to claim you must send in the required barcodes for each toy and receipt(s) evidencing purchase of the required Huggies products. See Terms and Conditions for details.
Q. Can I pay the postage and handling in cash?
A. We don’t accept cash as it is not a secure way to send payment through the post.
Q. What methods of payment are available?
A. Cheque (made payable to “Huggies Classic Toys Offer”), money order, and credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Bankcard and Diners Card) are accepted (accompanying your claim form). Cash and stamps are not accepted.
Q. Where do I get a money order from?
A. Money orders are available from post offices. See the New Zealand Post website for location details.
Q. How many Classic Toys can I claim?
A. The offer is limited to 2 toys per household. You can make 2 separate claims for 1 toy or 1 claim for 2 toys. If you would like 2 toys you can choose any combination of Activity Cubes and Block Carts that you like, subject to availability.
Q. I have enough barcodes and receipt(s) to claim two Classic toys at the same time, can I send them in all together and get two Classic Toys?
A. Yes as long as you have the correct number of barcodes and receipt(s) and pay the appropriate postage & handling fee (including GST).
Q. I don’t want to become a Huggies Club member – can I claim anyway?
A. You must become a Huggies Club member in order to claim a Classic toy.
Q. When will I receive my Classic toy(s)?
A. Please allow at least 9 weeks from the time we receive your claim form before you receive your Classic toy(s). If it has been longer than this, you can call 0800 845 623 to check on the status of your claim.
Q. How will I know how many toys are left to claim?
A. There will be a running tally of remaining toys (both the Activity Cube and the Block Cart) on the website at www.huggies.co.nz/classic
Q. What happens if I send in my barcodes and receipt(s) and there are no Classic Toys left?
A. As long as we have all your contact details we can return these and any monies received to you.
Q. Is this offer open to Australian residents?
A. This offer is only available to New Zealand residents.

A. No.
Q. There are 3 barcodes on my box of Huggies nappies – can I use all of them?
A. Yes you can use all three barcodes and they will count as 3 individual barcodes.
Q. The Huggies Nappies I buy come in a brown cardboard box with Winnie the Pooh and friends on it – can I use these barcodes?
A. Yes, each box has 2-3 barcodes on it and you’re able to use all those barcodes.
Q. My baby was premature and the hospital supplied us with some neo-natal Huggies nappies in a red pack – can I use this barcode?
A. Yes, the barcode from this product is accepted.
Q. I recently went overseas and I brought back a pack of Huggies Nappies – can I use this barcode in the offer?
A. No, only barcodes and receipt(s) from New Zealand packs of Huggies Nappies, Huggies Nappy-Pants and Huggies Baby Wipes, are accepted in this offer.

Q. I don’t have a printer at home – what options are available to me?
A. The fastest way to get a claim form is to save the form to your computer (there will be a “Save” button at the bottom of the window) and email it to you or your partner’s work email address (or to a friend) and have it printed there. If this is not an option for you, please call 0800 845 623.
Q. I saved my claim form on my computer and I am unable to open it.
A. To open the claim form you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. You can download the latest version for free from the Adobe website. If you still have problems, you can try emailing the file to a friend or work colleague and get them to print it out for you or call 0800 845 623.

Q. I have requested a specific toy. What happens if you run out of my first choice?
A. If you opted to receive an alternative toy on your claim form, this will be sent to you. If you opted not to receive an alternative toy, your claim will not be processed and your claim form, barcodes, receipt(s) and payment will be posted back to you.
Q. I have a problem with one of my Classic toys.

Q. I didn’t get a VTech Toy last year – are there any left?
A. Sorry, we don’t have any more VTech toys left.

Our Consumer Advisory Service (the number that is listed on Huggies packs) are unable to answer questions about the Classic Toys offer.

Q. I want to participate in this offer but have forgotten my Huggies Club password, and I can’t sign-up again because I’m already a member under my existing email address.
A. If you have forgotten your password, you can send yourself an email containing your password by clicking on “Forgotten password?” in the Sign In page. If you do not receive this email within a few minutes, please check your “Bulk Mail Folder” or “Spam” folder. Some email programs automatically filter out computer generated emails. Q. My email address has changed and I don’t have access to it anymore. How do I login?
A. If you no longer have access to your original email address you previously used, you can sign in and reset your email address.
Q. How do I check my membership details?
A. If you have already signed in to the Huggies site, you will notice a “My Huggies” link in a green bar at the top right hand corner of the page. By clicking on it, it will take you to your profile page where you’ll be able to view all your membership activities (e.g. promotions which you’ve joined, baby name or recipe lists that you have shared with others). In order to update your membership details, you will need to click on the “My details” tab on the left side. This will take you to a page where you can update your contact details and email address at any time. If you are not signed in, you will not be able to see this area.
Q. How do I cancel my membership?
A. You may cancel your membership anytime by first signing in, then clicking on the “My details” tab on the left side. Under “Account Details”, there is a link for you to select “Cancel My Membership.” Please note that if you cancel your membership, you won’t be able to access the claim form for the Classic Toys Offer.
