My name is Kylie and I have a beautiful, energetic 13 month old little girl. I am also six months pregnant with our next child. It is just starting to sink in that very soon I am going to be home alone with two very young children and some days I already find it difficult dealing with one!! I am just starting to get a little scared about what I am in for. I have a husband, but dont really have much support when it comes to the parenting side of things or the day to day running of the house. You have three children and I am just after some advice that it will be fine and basically any advice that would help me out especially at present where I have no energy and a toddler bouncing off the walls everyday wanting my undevided attention. I already take her to swimming lessons once a week and also to a playgroup another day, but she doesnt like daytime sleeps and never wants to stop!! Any advice would help.
thank you
Kylie.
You may find it a little challenging in the early months when your second child is born but when they are older they will be really close and play very well together. You will find that the older child may revert a little once the baby is born but involving them in the care helps make them feel included. The baby will sleep quite a bit so your toddler will feel that they are getting enough attention and when the toddler naps you can get a bit of time with the baby (or for yourself). Your husband can help care for the baby in the evenings such as bathing and helping put the toddler to bed. Time will fly but it will work itself out later on.
Best wishes,
Alex
