Are cortisone injections safe during pregnancy? I have extreme hip/joint pain and was recommended by an Orthopedic surgeon yesterday, to have cortisone injections as he thinks the area is inflamed.
I`m 28 weeks pregnant with twins and cannot walk unaided. I suffer from hip seizures and pain when walking. It`s been like this for the past 5 weeks.
I`ve been to Physio and they have said it might be sciatica, sacrilliage joint pain or my hip flexes. Nevertheless it seems my hips have rotated forward and this is causing me severe pain and discomfort. I`m at my wits end with this pain.. Please help?
