Can breastfeeding help with health problems, such as Atopic Dermatis?

Hi Alex.
My Question to you is, My daughter is currently 3 mths, and does breastfeeding for a as long as possible help with any health problems, such as Atopic Dermatis, there has been history of skin problems in both sides of the family.

Answer: Hi Narelle,
There are several studies that prove that long term breast feeding does improve a baby’s immune system. However, with a strong family history your baby may still develop this problem.
