Is there a position I can sit or sleep in to turn my baby out of breach position?
Hi Alex,
I am 37 and 3 days pregnant. I am getting induced on the 8th of August. When I went to have an ultrasound yesterday (28th July) I was told that the baby is in breach. Will he turn before Monday the 4th of August? This is when I go for my last ultrasound before the big day. Is there any sort of position I can sit or sleep to help this along? I didn`t want a C section but doc says it is on the cards.
Thanks
Yvonne

Answer:
Hi Yvonne,
At this late stage in your pregnancy the baby is unlikely to turn. You can ask your doctor if he does External Cephalic Version, where the baby is turned from the outside. They may be able to recommend a doctor for you. Otherwise you will be offered a caesarean section for the birth. It is not your fault that the baby is in this position some just stay this way.
Best wishes,
Alex
