I was told during an ultrasound that I have a Bicornuate Uterus

Hi Alex
I am currently 31.5 weeks pregnant with my first baby, I have also suffered 2 miscarriages. I was told during a ultrasound that I have a Bicornuate Uterus, my question is, will I carry my daughter to term or will I go into early labour? I am also worried that I won`t be able to give my daughter any siblings, what are the chances of me conceiving again.
Also what causes some women to have a Bicornuate Uterus.
Thankyou
Naomi

Answer: Hi Naomi,
You are at a greater risk of having your baby early but you still may carry to term. It can depend on the degree of your condition as to how high your chances are of miscarrying and premature labour. You will be able to conceive again but you have a higher chance of miscarriage but if you are now having a successful pregnancy it should be able to happen again.
Best wishes,
Alex
