It is best just to leave them alone do not over scrub or touch the foreskin at all. In babies and young children the foreskin is attached to the penis so you cannot retract it. If you try you will hurt your son and possibly cause constriction from a swollen foreskin. This can cause other problems. As long as your son has a fairly regular bath and you change is nappy regularly there is no problem. Once your son is at school his father can teach him to wash under the foreskin.
