I`d like to teach him `shower`, but it`s not in the book

Hi Jackie,
We have your book Aus Baby Hands, and are using a few signs with our 6month old. I`d like to teach him `shower` because he usually has those with his Dad and rarely a bath, but its not in the book. Could I use rain or something instead or would that be confusing?

Answer: Hi Heather,
The sign for shower is very similar to the sign for sun except you move your hand down towards your head like the movement of water. Below is a link to a auslan dictionary which includes the sign for shower:
