summary:
This puffy little creature is a great way to teach little ones how to count.
Even the littlest bakers can have fun in the kitchen making this edible insect!
What You’ll Need
- 10 large marshmallows
- White cake frosting
- 2 brown mini M&Ms®
- Black liquorice lace
Spread a thin layer of frosting on the short sides of each marshmallow. Help your child to “glue” them together in a line. Count each one as you connect them.
To make the caterpillar’s head: Dab a small amount of frosting on the front of the marshmallow and gently press two M&M®s where the eyes should go. Insert two short pieces of the liquorice to use as the antennae.
