Hi everyone, my baby absolutely loves tummy time and will push his legs and arms back and forth trying to move and then after about 10 mins he gets really angry thaat he cant go anywhere. Today for the first time he pushed his knees up under his belly and butt and supported his weight, his head and chest were still on the ground lol but I was pretty proud of him. I know he is really young but does this mean that he will crawl soon?? He hasnt started rolling or even shown any interest in rolling. My mum said I was the same when I was a baby and started crawling at 5 months.
Oh and he does little push ups all the time as well.

Today he's been commando crawling backwards, he doesnt seem to know what his hands are for though. He gets really frustrated when he goes backwards. Ugh he woke up at 3.30 this morning and I tried to get him back to sleep but he just wanted to practice his commando crawling lol didnt go back to sleep till 6am.

yeah he is lol. Its very cute but then he has a meltdown after going backwards for a while lol. When he woke up this morning (2am) he was at the opposite end of the cot than where he went to sleep  lol not too sure how he did that, maybe he figured out how to go forward.

He sounds like a very gorgeous, determind little boy! My middle daughter was up on all fours by 4mths and crawling by 4.5mths, so anything is possible. To me it sounds like he is on his way to being mobile! If I were to guess by what you are describing he will have mastered the art of crawling by 5 ,5.5 months . Have fun this is an exciting time
