I look like crap and feel like crap. I've been 50kg for as long as I remember and liked myself better pregnant (62kg). What should I be eating? Carbs or protein? What foods should I avoid? Junk food / take away IS NOT helping.
Since having my second child my face has become gaunt (sp) and my boobs are disappearing!(and I formula feed). I probably look like a drug addict! Please, is anyone in the same boat as me?
Thanks.

Go see your GP and get some tests done incase your thyriod is going mental or some other reason.
If all fails I will happy to post you some of my excess :)

My hubby's the same, eats whatever he wants and when he wants and even ate mc donalds and kfc for ages and didn't gain any weight, so it may just be your metabolism, in which it will be very hard for you to gain weight, but maybe friends or a doc has ideas?

I was 53kgs when I got pregnant with DS and then went down to 48kgs by the time he was a couple of months old and I wasn't dieting, breastfeeding or doing any exercising except for keeping active and going for walks etc. As for the boob thing, I was a B cup before DS, a C cup during pregnancy and then down to a double A afterwards so my boobs obviously have no idea what size they like to be!
Might be a good idea to get your GP to run some tests to rule out any thyroid or hormonal inbalances and then maybe get a referral to a nutritionist who can give you a diet plan to put more weight on while still being healthy.

I hear you! I'm the same, my normal weight is 60kg & i'm quite tall which makes it look worse. I'm comfortable with my size now, however for a long time i was 58kg and could not for the life of me get back to 60kg.
I read somewhere that eating breakfast kickstarts your metabolism & one of the best ways to lose way is to make sure you eat breakfast... so i applied that logic & skipped breakfast for a few weeks. BINGO! 2kgs gained just like that. I found it hard to skip breakfast, but it certainly worked & i've kept it on since.
I doubt it's a recommendation a dietician would make, but it's what worked for me so worth sharing i thought. We are so lucky to have fast metabolisms but i'm sure random ppl don't go up to overweight ppl & tell them they need to lose it. The number of randoms i used to get pinching me - you're soo thin... argh!! so rude!
Good luck!
