My mobile phone ...... is ...... GONE. Yup, gone. Suspisioning it grew legs and walked off because if i misplaced it i'd have found it by now surely. It's been two days. It's gone. My beautiful brand new Iphone4s. I only got it um December i reckon. Had SO many photos i SHOULD have put onto my computer sad And video. Precious precious. All gone. My poor phone.

Did you have one of those applications on your iPhone that can track your iPhone from a computer? I have one and it's so accurate that is can tell me where in the house it is! Very helpful.

If not, retrace your steps. Maybe look in the fridge or something (with baby brain, who knows where you could have put it)

Nah, I thought about my daughter straight off but she's a funny little thing. When she bes naughty, and she knows playing with phone s naughty, she will make sure she comes and does it in front of me. She always does it like that. She's not the kind of kid that will go off on her own to play, she generally has to be with me in the same room. So I'd have known if she had it at any stage. And if she had had it when she was playing with her brother, the only other time she will leave a room without e he would have strait away told me. He's a HUGE stickler for not doing naughty things.

you sound like my Husband. He WAS going to put thetracker on it for me but we just haven't got around to doing it because it's vintage and we barely see each other at the moment. When insurance gets me a new phone I'm putting tracker on it straight away!

Nah, she only had her bag when we go out, rest of the time it's up high on a hook where she can't reach.

I've rang it from every room AND from the car. I don't know ifihad it on vibrate or not but I would have heard it vibrating. They're loud on those phones. So no ring, no vibrate inside or outside.
Today though it must have wentflat because it would go straightto msg bank when I started ringing again, I've now called teltra to tell them to suspend the number for now incase someone's got it. The phone has a lock on it but all they have to do it reset it back to factorysettings to use it.

Yup, luckily for me i don't have a HUGE house so i've been able to go over this one a couple times now without any luck. The kids rooms. My room. SPare room. Kitchen laundry toilet bathroom loungeroom. Backyard frontyard. Car inside and boot. Shopping bags because thats where i was sure i last had it.
I'm juts not holding my breath on finding it.
You watch, i'll get a new one and in about 6 months the old one will turn up.

Oh no that sucks. well i like you lost my phone a few months ago and i searched the house and car from to top to bottom in everything walked around ringing it and even talking to it in the hope that it would just run out and give me a hug in the end (an i'm embarassed to admit it) my husband decided to look through the car for me and found it in the land of the never never which is down between the seat and the centre console in the car. its almost impossible to get your hand down there. and my phone is always on silent.

I hope it turns up for you today in the most unusual of places and you don't have to replace it

I even tried ringing it with the wheelie bin lids open. Yup, it's been two and a half days, i think it's gone for good. RIP My lovely new Iphone4s. You made me so happy.

Husband rang the insurance people who said the woman who handles it is on holidays so we'll be waiting atleast 3 weeks for a new phone. What bloody company only has ONE person that can handle a specific thing like a claim??!! My Husband doesn't see why i got cranky when he told me that. Sounds bullcrap.

I'm actually up to 4 times so far with checking the car. I just keep going and having a look because i remember the day i lost it, it was sitting on the um ledge thingy above the steering wheel where the spedo is. Then i was sure i threw it in my grocery bag with my wallet when i went to go inside. Can't for the life of me work it out. Noone could have stolen it from the car because i always lock the car when i hop out of it. Just habit pushing the key button to lock it so i didn't forget.
Seeing as i AM a mum, i don't like the idea of not having my phone. If we got stranded one the side of the road having a phone would be a life saver when ihave kids but if i wasn't a mum i'd just hitch-hike into town or walk or somehting. You cant do that with kids. Or just anything that might come up. Phones are very important. Luckily i DO have an old Nokia phone that will atleast do messages and phonecalls so when i next go to twon i will pick up a sim card and atleast have that. Just ,eans no Huggies or Facebooks when im bored standing in a line or waiting for s0omething or whatever. Woe is me.

I did think about the bin. So before my phone went flat yesterday, i did manage to ring it while standing next to our two wheelie bns. No vibrate noises or ringing noises came from there. I don't think she's thrown it away. She has never secretly done somehting like that before, she usually has to show me when she's being naughty like she has to prove how cooll she is for being naughty. It's weird, but i like it because she tells me as soon as she's being naughty.

The cars a standard not huge one. Theres just no more places for a phone to hide in there that i haven't checked. And nah, wouldn't have fallen out.
It's like, mystery of the year. I can't wait to see where it turns up. As it surely MUST because i just don't see how someone could have stolen it.

Well, technically mu Husbands wallet but whats his is mine lol. I still got that. So if my phone was WITH it logically how could that be missing and not the wallet too. It's boggling my mind. I just can't work it out. Where is my bloody phone!

I know you said you checked the boot and I also don't know how big the phone is as I haven't seen one of those but I placed my phone in the boot but not actually the inside but when you open the boot it has a cravis that I place mine in and yep I lost mine too but I found it in there and it was fine

Nah it can't slide off the dash. Its um not on TOP of the dash but below it and just above the steering wheel. Like a seperate ledge. Yeah, it's not in the car. I've pulled seats out. Vaccumed the whole car and cleaned every nook and cranny and there's just nowhere for it to hide in there that i haven't checked.
We have the um shopping bag that you keep you know the material ones? And i went and checked all the empty ones i put back in the boot and it's not in a single one of them.
I've thought long and hard and tried to retrace my steps, even went into the two shops i went into that day just incase i may have left it on a counter even though im sure i left it in the car both times because i didn't have pockets thta day and was carrying my baby.
I hadn't synced my phone for a long time. I kept meaning to get my Husband to do it because i wanted all my photos and videos onto my computer and what not but didn't get around to it the last couple months as he's working and sleeping all day and night at the moment. Bloody regretting it now huh!

Yeah i and my Husband both scoured the boot too. Lifted all the carpet and stuff. It's not there either. Our boot isn't huge.
