Summer weddings Rss

My Dh and I got married on the 19th Nov last year in WA and with all the hype of christmas and new years, I'm wondering who else had that special summer wedding?

Swap stories and photos and lets oohhh and ahhh over all our different ways (and beautiful might i add)we went about creating our wedding smile

I miss that ours went by so fast and would love to do it again, I loved mine so much!
I'm a huge wedding fan and love happy "beginnings" smile

Not married yet. we were supposed to get married in november but decided to postpone when we found out i was pregnant so we wouldnt be adjusting to parenthood still (my boy was born august 25th).
Dont know when we actually will now but please share your photos anyway! I love looking at other peoples wedding photos & getting ideas for ours.
Funny story, when we told everyone we were pregnant my nanna asked if we were moving the wedding forward!! lol!! sorry nanna, baby was born out of wedlock!! hahaha!! dirty sinners!! did she really think I would be at my own wedding not able to drink champagne?!
lol congrats on a healthy little bubba! Never mind being sinners we had 2 little girls out of wedlock smile we even postponed our original wedding date to have another baby smile

I'm a big wedding fan so hopefully we get some lovely mums sharing their stories soon.
Our day was beautiful, the only downside was my 18month old isn't in many photos at all and my 4yr old refused to be in most the photos cause she was more interested in having piggyback rides with her Great grandad! so we missed out on a family one of the 4 of us, but we have all our dress's and i plan on getting a photo shoot done later this year hehe

as for pics we have a blog our photographer did: http://www.objektiv.com.au/blog/weddingphotography/2750/

I had so much fun in the lead up to it all, i made the invitations, place cards, seating chart, table decorations (foam frangipani's) and the cake topper and gosh knows what else! my maid of honour made our cake as our wedding gift and practise for her business!

Absolutely beautiful. I'm just starting to plan ours for september/october of this year. finger crossed it'll turn out as well as yours did for you.

Robin s goodluck with it smile Its such a fun time, it can be stressful but just take time out if it gets like that and ask for help at every corner!
and thank you x

11. November. 2011. Here!!

I was worried about that time of year as where I live it can get very rainny and muggy. I got married on top of a hill/mountain and I was worried it was going to be hot, The ceremony was supoesed to be at4:30 but we were an hour late, so it was 5:30 and quite cool by then so it all worked out well becuase it was near sun set grin
We were married in August in a small wedding at a winery a few hours away with close family and friends. We had a very realxed day that went far too fast. Our little girl was sick for the entire weekend we were away for our wedding and kept my husband and i up throughout the night before. She was also so miserable on the day that there are very few photos of us all together and the ones that we do have she is looking very miserable.

I wish we could do it all again as i enjoyed every minute of the planning. Unfortunately a few things went wrong for us on the day which can't be helped.

All the best to anyone planning their big day. I highly recommend looking around for family friendly venues that will cater for small ones as they truly make the day special.
