hi my 18 months old daughter wont eat lumps i need to blend it i tryed cutting the chicken with mty finger until very small and the veges i mush it with the fork but she still thoughs up my son was the same the doctor said he had a small air way and he was aged 3 i think shes the same i tryed finger food she will only eat chips but she sucks it only shes got 4 top teeth and 4 bottoms does anypne have the same problem? ty

You could try really soft finger foods- like cooked carrot and zuchinni sticks. Also, at that age my DD liked bite sized pieces of soft food. So chopped banana, tiny sandwiches, little pieces of strawberries, baked pumpkin etc.

hi katieeee i have tryed finger foods she wont touch anything other then chip or apple i have tryed giving her food what i eat so does my other two kids but still wont eat ...

i have the same problem with my 1 yea old son who eats only pured food , i blend everything without even one small lump in it ,how am i supossed to teach him how to chew when he cough and then spits out all the food , i am scared to change the texture of the food because i cannot watch him coughing like that ,

i went to the doctors thay all tell me in time thay will eat lumps so now im not worryed that much..
i think with ur son just blend the food for him then in time he will eat the lumps my little one when she sees me eat she will wont it and sametimes she will eat it and sametimes she spits it back out thay will out grow it in time...
