Feb 2012 Rss

Hi gorgeous ladies!!

Well I thought I would start a Feb thread as I think it's going to take me that long for my levels to come down nd start this emotional journey of TTC.

So ladies who's in with me? Lets kick 2012 in the bum with a huge BFP nd a sticky little bean.

Good luck ladies

Sending loads of baby dust Xxxx

Chin up gorgeous girl Xxx
your right. big girls pants always get the result you want!

this month i was taking pregnancy multi, EPO and baby aspirin as well as clomid 50mg. next month, even though i want to take a break ill take the vitex/b6 receipe and see howwe go.
Yes girls, I'm in too. Just finishing bleeding from my latest miscarriage - so am going to wait to get AF again before getting back on the horse so to speak - ha ha. I haven't canceled my Obstetrician appointment yet (was supposed to be seeing her next week when I'd have been 12 weeks), is it the done thing to see an Ob/Gyn to query why I might be having miscarriages??? Thinking about keeping my appointment with her to get her expert opinion. What do you think?

Sry for ur losses sweetheart. May I ask how many mc u have had?

I would b taking Vitamin B6 which helps sustain a pregnancy esp with ppl that mc.

I would still go to the appointment nd c wot she has to say, no harm in trying to get some answers.

Good luck Xxx

Thanks Del, and I am sorry to hear your news too - have been keeping up with your journey (and yours rumsmuggler). I've had two dream pregnancies one after the other falling pregnant first month both times. Trying for number three is a bit tricky - still able to fall pregnant very easily but have mc'd two in a row now. First one was early and then this one I had a subchorionic haematoma and carried till 9wks. GP sent me for some blood tests today and I've just called my OB/GYN and have managed to get into her next week by changing my appointment from Preg to Gyn. What a drama - much easier to just have a baby ha ha ha.
I'm in for Feb too after a very very short cycle of just 14 days!

Good luck lovely ladies smile
I think I'm in for Feb too. I'm off to the gp tomorrow to get my stitches taken out from having my ectopic removed and hopefully she gives me the all clear to keep trying. Everyone (family wise) have been telling me take our time before me start ttc again, but DP and I are both keen to keep on going
i found i felt better after losing Ava to just get stuck back in. it varies for everyone but having a goal helps
Yes I kind of want to start right away again also. But, the sensible side of me is telling me to wait till after AF. I'll see what my Ob has to say next week. It seems everyone I ask has a different opinion. Has anyone ever heard of an actual reason why they say to wait for AF before starting again???

It comes down to a personal nd emotional thing sweetheart rather than a medical thing. I no for my self nd my amazing supportive DH we need to jump straight back on that wagon nd try again, I need to for my own mental state nd to feel like I am actively trying for our dream. I hope that makes sense.
Hi all, Im new to TTC. I have a 4 1/2 yr old boy, stillborn girl at term Nov 2010 and MC in June last year. Only just getting my head back into the game now. My cycles are really long, 36 days approx and I tend to O on day 24 which should be 22nd Jan. Have started temping just to make sure.

Sam37- they say to wait one cycle to make sure there is nothing left behind as it can cause you to MC again if there is but at the end of the day it really is your decision.

wishing everyone the best of luck
Hi Ladies,

I'm so sorry to hear about all of your difficulties. I hope that 2012 is a year of happiness and wish fulfillment smile

I will be joining in on TTC for Feb. My Husband and I have been TTC for 2 months now and I have a long cycle about 34 to 40 days long. I hate it so much because I get that hope that maybe I am pregnant but then get crampy and AF shows up. So I thought I would join in on the forums with other lovely ladies that are on this journey also.

Have they said y u have such long cycles?

Do u have PCOS or ENDO? If not there r so vitamins u can take to help shorten ur cycles nd get them back into a normal range.

Good luck Xxx

Thank u Xxx
Seeing as though we're so far off from any action in this thread thought I'd ask about some of the things you're doing to prepare your body to ttc - such as exercise, relaxation techniques, particular foods being eaten, etc??? I was feeling tip top until Christmas time when I started eating lots of crap I shouldn't have - lollies & chocolates mostly!! Time to get the sugar out of my system again and move the kilo I gained.

Thanks Del,

I had a laparoscopy about 2 years ago and they didn't find any ENDO. They did find one Cyst on one of my ovaries but the GYNO said that it shouldn't come back. My GP tested for PCOS but said that all my hormone levels were normal so it is very unlikely. I am doing the billings method and I have found that the months that my cycles get to about day 40 are when I have had a couple of stressful days around ovulation. Most months it's about 34 to 36. I was a bit concerned about the cyst coming back because I had so many ultrasounds before the laparoscopy and none of them showed any evidence of a cyst. The only reason I saw a GYNO is because one of the ladies I was working with at the time suggested it might be a good idea just incase I did have ENDO. The GYNO said to me in the first appointment that even though he couldn't see anything on the scans he would do the keyhole just to make sure.

Hi Sam,

I have been reading alot of pregnancy books and have just tried to eat healthy and i've started doing more regular excercise. Christmas and New Years was a killer though! My mother in-law decided to bring out a bottle of Moet wacko I am going to look into doing pre-conception yoga classes here in Canberra that way I can move into the prenatal classes once I know I'm pregnant.

Good Luck X
Hey everyone,

I also like a couple of you are just recovering from a m/c (had a d&c yesterday) and so will be waiting till Feb to TTC again.
I'm hoping it doesn't take too long as we have had to battle endometriosis just to even have sex!

I have no idea about cycles and ovulation times etc, so am very new to this. smile

Not a stupid question at all honi.......Everyone is different when it come to when we O, nd a lot of things can change it each month. I would strongly suggest getting some OPK's nd doing them from CD10 through to when u get a POS, once u get a POS OPK then u BD for 3 days straight then miss a day then BD again.

If u r not confident enough yet or dnt want to use OPK's, start BDing every day from CD10 nd watch for ur EWCM, once u c that BD every day till u "dry" back up.

I hope this made sense. Do u know the abbverations we use on here? If not I can also post them up for u.

I'm hoping not to join you in TTC Feb, but I'm just poking my head in and saying hi smile

I have also had 2 MC's in 2011 and I am hoping to finally have my healthy baby in 2012!

I everyone, I'm not actually joining this thread, we are hoping to start trying in March. But have a question and didn't see the point in starting up a new thread.
Vitamins - now I take standard multis now and last time we were TTC I started Elevit, but I have a lot of multis left so provided I take extra folic acid will they still be ok to take, or are the levels of vitamins in them to strong/weak?
thanks and good luck to you all smile
