Anyway. I'm 26, DH is 25 we were due to have our first baby in January but had a late miscarriage in August... It makes this bfp even sweeter! Looking forward to having some more people join the thread soon. Hopefully i'll be around annoying you for the next 9 months!
Due August 2012!
Hi! I know it is super early but I just got a very faint bfp! I'm only three weeks pregnant. AF is meant to be due next Tuesday. I'm just praying that it's not a chemical pregnancy.

Congratulations! It's nice to have some company! I booked a doctors appointment today and my first check up at the hospital will be Dec 15. Because we lost our first bub late they want to keep a close watch on this pregnancy... So it's sort of feeling real.. I think if all is good in a week I'll start to get excited! Af isn't due til tueday so it could be a chemical pregnancy. Where are you from Emma2012?
I'm from Adelaide 2012mum. I have my 8 week appointment on 22nd December....can't wait to hear the baby's heart beat for the first time! I know it's a very important stage to get to. Fingers crossed everything will be ok x
Hi ladies, I was more of a bit of "reader" to this forum when my last baby was due in Nov 2009 but I thought I might take on a more active roll this time around smile I just found out that I'm about 4 weeks making me due around Aug 4th 2012. This is my third baby. I have an 11 year old girl and a 2 year old boy (yep huge age gap) We are from NZ. Its nice to meet (yes, meet I suppose is the right word to use :huh ) you...
Hi everyone
i am around 3-4wks along (according to a blood test)... however if they look at my cycle i should be due on 31 July... but this doctor is an idiot... the stuff she told me is crap... so i will see my regular doctor tomorrow...
when i had my 13 month old... i was a week late (i think because i had a stretch and sweep) with my 21year old i was 2 weeks late... yeah i know this is a HUGE gap.. (bigger than your Jay T LOL)
So can i stay here?

It's probably too early to be getting many symptoms.. So far I'm feeling a lot better than my first pregnancy but I can't quite remember the weeks.. I think I didn't test until the end of my fourth week.. By then my boobs were so sore and I was so tired it was a struggle to get out of bed in the morning.. None of that yet.. Infact this week I've been feeling quite well.

Hi everyone
I just had a dating scan yesterday and I have a date of the 4th August....I had worked it out as being late July using the calculators but I guess I have to go with what the doctor says. Bit of a worry as we are living in New Caledonia at the moment where they speak French and I dont....so its going to be interesting.....will be back in NZ to have baby though thank goodness!
This is our second baby...DD is 3 1/2 so very happy to finally be pregnant again, not so happy about the morning sickness again though -agghh!

I am 23 and my partner and I have been together for 6 years. smile

Great to hear Reneeaimee!
I hope everyone is getting on well! Anyone experiencing any morning sickness yet? I haven't, I can feel that I'm starting to get a bit tired though.
I'm thinking I'm going to tell my mum that I'm pregnant this weekend however I don't know how she'll take it as she is quite religious and well DF and I aren't married yet! So little nervous! But I don't want to leave it too long to tell her otherwise I'll be stressing about it.

Hi!
No morning sickness yet. It hit just after week 6 with DS so we will see smile
I am so tired though. I slept 9 hours last night and woke up at 7am...by 10 I was sleepy again.
I hope it goes well telling your Mum. I think that if you feel you will be stressing just bite the bullet and do it! Less stress is better for you and bub smile
Have booked my doctors appointment for friday. I am going to ask for bloods and a dating scan just for peace of mind smile Going by my LMP I am due 7th August.

G'day ladies, I want to join too... If I can stop jumping up and down long enough to type!
We got our BFP yesterday. The day of DF's Grandmother's funeral, so it was something that I had to keep in check yesterday. Still at the inlaws so have to also try and be subtle - which is hard, b/c today, I am bursting! smile
I am 33 (2 weeks ago) and DF is 31. We've been together 3.5 years today! I am an aussie, he is a frog. We're currently living in France (after meeting in the UK). This is our first baby, and we're so excited - but also a little cautious after a MC last month. But this BFP is soooo different from last month. We were trying solid for 8 months.
Symptoms: Gas - wow! flatulence, and burping (started 2 days ago), and it running around in my body (like when you have gas anesthesia). My BBs are sooooo sore, I had to hold them going down the stairs this morning. And DF forgets and wants to hug me all the time smile Also having trouble sleeping a bit, even though I am tired.
Looking forward to getting to know you all over the next 8 months. I think that I am due on the 9 or 10th August (based on O date). Will get bloods done next week when back to my regular doctor.

Hi ladies, got my BFP yesterday - due 10th August I think!
I'm 33 and DH is 36, we live in NZ. This is number 2, we have a nearly 17 month old DS and have been TTC for about 9 months. DS was a suprise so didn't think it would take so long.
No symptoms yet...fingers crossed that all these babies are sticky! smile

Welcome and congratulations on all the new bfps!
I had a scare last night went to bed with pack pain that felt really heavy numb much like what i felt when i gave birth to my baby at 19 weeks. I also had af like cramps. The whole night I felt like I was going to mc.. Well no bleeding as yet so hopefully it was natural pregnancy stuff happening.
Still trying to decide whether or nit to accept a job that I think I'll be offered next week even though I'll only be there for 6 months.. That's if all goes well with this pregnancy.
Not many symptoms, last time my bbs were so sore and I was o tired. At the moment I only have small feelings of nausea if I haven't eaten for a while..

Welcome Tracey and Anirtak, so lovely to have you both join us!! smile
Catwoman - I had really bad reflux late in my last pregnancy but not this early.
2012mum - That would be so scary for you sad I have my fx that this bub stays nice and snug in your belly for the entire 9 months smile I think you need to be honest with your employer. They may still hire you, especially I you are open and honest and approachable grin I accepted a different full time position when I was 11 weeks at my work and told my boss and he was perfectly fine with it, so hopefully your potential new boss will be the same.
AFM, I had a doc appt today. Got bloods and a pee test done. My GP kind of dismissed me a little bit which was disappointing...he didn't check my blood pressure, even though I have a history of pre-eclampsia and didn't give me any of the antenatal paperwork. He did give me a number to ring to organise care through the hospital (I'm going public again). Probably the worst thing was him saying to me, I hate to burst your bubble but 20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage so we won't do congratulations yet. Clearly he thinks I'm stupid -___-
Anyway I have had a few cramps and my boobs have DEFINITELY gotten bigger, I'd be pushing an E cup now huh Theyre not sore though. More tired than usual and peeing lots smile
Hope everyone is well
Xoxo

Wow, your doctor sounds like an a*se! Get a new one. Even better, go to another one in the same practice! smile Some people are so dismissive, about an early PG. The 20% he is talking about (from what I've read) are MC before AF is due (which is technically a chemical pregnancy). If you're passed AF, I think that the number is smalle than 20% (i'm hoping so anyway).
I think that I am lucky, not only does my doctor speak english (phew!) but last month for the MC, she checked me out (BP, heart, etc), and ordered both bloods and an u/s. Though it's a bit different here, you can only go to your own doctor, unless an emergency - and PG confirmation is not an emergency (hence I have to wait until next wed for a blood confirmation).
2012mum here's hoping your bub is sticky (and everyone else's too).

Hi ladies,
2012mum, hope you are okay! sad
Nic - that doctor is mean, can you find another? I have a woman doc who I really like. I haven't been yet, might go next week.
Qldmummy - I use Lilypie, make the ticker, copy the code link that it gives you, then edit your profile signature by pasting in the code.
Tracey - will you be in France for the birth?
I am feeling a bit stressed and I know I shouldn't for two reasons.
1) I contacted my midwife from last time and she is available which is great. But straight up she said "hope you get your vaginal birth this time", just kind of hit it home that I might have to do a VBAC. DS was an emergency c-section - overdue, induction, failure to progress, large baby, posterior, head up instead of down, erratic fetal heartrate - so all those reasons mean I could try for a VBAC but I'm just nervous of going through like 30 hours of labour again for another c-sec. I don't know, I guess I just assumed I would have an elective c-sec but probably just need to see how pregnancy goes and if looking good could try VBAC - but just really scared. Really scared of both options actually ahhh! DH seems to be all for the elective but I really don't know. Sorry for ramble.
2) We don't have any family and all my friends have kids where we live so if I do VBAC am stressing about who is going to look after DS if we have to suddenly go to hospital in the middle of the night. At least elective, I would have a date so mum could be here. But then I thought - what about an Au Pair? There is an Au Pair Assist programme which is short-term au pair, they could come live with us and help me out with DS when I'm heavily pregnant and be there in the house to look after him when we have to go to hospital and when we come home with new baby. Haven't told DH this and he probably won't like this either but I need to not spend the next 9 months stressing over all these things!
Anyway, ladies, I think I will go to GP next week and talk to her about VBAC.

Aww mate, its ok to have these worries, i am blessed my mum will be able to help as i needca csect and hubby wont be able to have time off.
Get a piece if paper and write all your options down aswell as the pros and cons of the vbac. Once everything is down yOu can work logically on solutions.
Also give yourself a little time to just enjoy being pregnant and work on the problem next month, u deserve to just bask in the pregnancy happiness for a bit smile

I will start a secret Facebook group for us when I get on the computer later , I've been trying to stay calm and positive and to keep my mind active , hubby and I have been trying for 12 months in that time we have had a early mc we have had a blighted ovum and then in may we lost a little girl at nearly 10 weeks (came back in bloodwork from d&c that it was a girl ) so I think it's a good sign that my hubby's birthday marks 12 weeks , even know I'm due august my baby will be born in July as I have to be induced between 37-38 weeks as I'm on blood thinners , it should be a fun journey with u all , hugz Aimee
Ohh Reneeaimee, hopefully this pregnancy runs smoothly for you!
I'm in a similar boat really as far as when i will give birth, my EDD is 3rd August however I have type 1 diabetes and they generally won't let us go past 38 weeks so yeah could be in July by the sounds of things. Its going to prove hard work as I have a lot of appointments and restrictions I must abide by. I had my GP appt yesterday and had my bloods done, will find the results out on Monday. My first specialist appointment is next Friday which DF will attend with me..I'm hoping all will go well.
I told my mum today that I'm UTD and she was completely fine about it and happy for me, so that was a weight lifted off my shoulder.
As far as symptoms go yesterday I did not attend work as I could not stop dry retching all morning but otherwise I feel fine. I'm about 5 and half weeks so I'm expecting it to hit next week. Heres hoping it will not be too severe!
I hope your all getting on well! Such an exciting time!!!
