Did a pregnancy test early this morning and have found out im expecting baby number 2!!
My daughter is one today (what a day to find out)
Im excited, nervous and unsure what to think.

By dates im about 3-4 weeks, Due perhaps late June early July 4th.

When are you due. smile

I THINK I can safely join this thread...OMG I cant believe it. I got a faint BFP this afternoon- I may be jumping the gun but there is def a line there.

So I have been TTC for 21months a dam long time. I have just done 2 rounds of IUI and both were unsucessful and we decided to take some time off save some money build a house etc...and OMG we done it on our own!

This will be number 5 for me (crazy I know) but first for my DP.

I am soo excited and in disbelief- and yes it could all go pear shaped and not be true but Im here for now.....

Hello ladies! I just found out that we are pregnant with number 3 on the weekend! After trying for 4 months and one that ended as a chemical pregnancy we are over the moon! I have a 5 year old son and 3 yr old daughter so its been a long time since weve had a newborn and we are thrilled!I used to be a huggies member when my son was a baby and am glad to be back on here smile

Congrats to you both on your BFPs! Kristy that does look positive- thats what my 1st test was like and they have since been getting darker. What are your due dates girls? We are due on 3rd July, am going to doc today to get it confirmed and bloods etc. Look forward to getting to know you all better in the next 8 months!

Congratulations on your pregnancies!! We found out on Sunday we are due with number 2 smile Due date around the 1st or 2nd of July...we have a 15 month old daughter who will turn 2 on the 7th of July so hopefully this baby doesn't crash her birthday!!Probably not the best planning but it happened much quicker than we expected, with our daughter it took 6 months of trying.and this time, well no trying really, but we are over the moon!

Hi all smile I just got a BFP this morning smile I am soo excited!! I just made a DR appointment for later today to check everything out...but im sooo excited!!

Oh and I am soo excited I can tell you girls because we are keeping it hush till 12 weeks. That's going to kill me!! lol This will actually be our 4th baby...bit of a surprise...but i must have known because this last month we were just starting to talk about another. lol

hi thought i might pop in here. we are due to have our third and final child sometime at the end of june begining of july. as my other two came early im hoping this one decides july is good as im due 2nd of july. its scary for me cause i know what is going to happen and i know this time around things are going to be so different then with the previous two. i dont see the doc until friday as i work three to four days a week and im hoping he can be there all the way though like he was with our second child.

this pregancy is taking it out of me so much but i dont care as long as it is healthy and i can fell it kick when the time comes i will be forever happy.

i hope everyone is enjoying being pregnant as well even though it doesnt seem that enjoyable some days though. kay

Hi Ladies, i only found out on Monday that i was pregnant and i think im due about late june or early july. First Baby for me, ahhhhhhhh so excited!!!

This one wasnt planned and my DP still hasnt come around to it at all.
Our little miss will be 20-21 months old when its due.
He is stressing about money and her well being. Im stressing as he is stressing.
I went for bloods yesterday and will get the result and due date on Friday.
Very nervous lol.
Im also starting to get bad morning sickness, just held down food this morning. Really didnt miss that feeling, and to top it off my bub loves to crawl all over my stomach at the worst time lol.

Hey smile I just saw a GP (not my usual one she doesn't work on Wed's) and she said that i didn't really need a blood test that everything seems fine and the Obst will want to do their own and see me at 8 weeks. So I came home and booked in with an Obst. I had my previous 3 public so it's all different this time around with booking in etc. Is anyone else in Brisbane? I am going to the Mater Mothers Private. Hopefully it will be good..I have heard lots of good things about it!! Oh and I am due on the 5th of July. My daughters birthday is the 2nd of July so I hope it doesn't crash her birthday..and I am secretly hoping to pop in June :/ My 2nd and 3rd babies were all induced 3 weeks early...so who knows what this one will be like.

I got my blood results today and hcg levels were normal, and confirmed the pregnancy so very happy and can relax a bit now. I look forward to telling family and friends, dont know when we will but we didnt wait till 12 weeks with my older children so will probably wait another month- if i can hold out that long!.

I am not feeling pregnant at all, kinda worries me, if anything I have more energy. I did feel tired and nauseous with my son in the early weeks but he was my 1st pregnancy so maybe its just different each time?

Hey Skye your hubby just needs to warm up to the idea a bit then he will get excited! And dont worry about the age of your DD had my two 18 months apart and it was lovely watching them grow up together, they are best buddies!

Hi girls!! Had bloods done today and YAY am def pregnant!! Fertility clinic have put me on progesterone suppositories as a precaution. Levels were a little low but ok still.
I had to go buy a new bra today my boobs are so sore and heavy (they are big enough as they are!)


Teagan I feel amazingly well too. Hardly sleeping but full of energy. I'm sure it will hit in a couple weeks.

I'm still in disbelief after nearly 2yrs ttc.... And dp is in shock and just can't believe it either. He always thought he can't have kids. He is away for work and what I would do to give him a hug

I agree congratulations everyone and how exciting for you Kristy after trying for 2 years!! That must have been such a long emotional road. I'm glad everything is going so well now and the doctors are keeping a close eye on you! I sometimes feel guilty especially on these threads when you hear about women suffering miscarriages and those who can't get pregnant. Soo not fair and I feel soo bad for them and here I am and I wasn't even trying - and I got pregnant the first month off the pill. I do feel very blessed though smile

I have been a little nauseous for the past 2 weeks really. Nothing too bad but just every now and again but a few times through the day. My boobs are also fuller and heaps more tender. My stomach has also bloated a bit to the point where I don't look different but I can't suck in my tummy if that makes sense. It's weird with 2nd, 3rd ..4th pregnancies because the baby is only the size of a marble but you bloat up soo quick!! I remember with my first being 18 weeks and barely showing! It's crazy the wonderful world of pregnancy. I am soo looking forward to going through it all again <3

Hey, Oh good luck telling the in-laws. I am sure they will be thrilled with another grandchild on the way. With my last 3 pregnancies we told everyone straight away. My kids were too little to understand what was really going on back then. This time I am being a little more cautious as my eldest is in yr 1, my middle one almost 5, and my little girl is 3. They all really understand this time and always ask for another sibling. I know they will be thrilled but i just don't want to have to explain things to them if things go wrong. A Mum at school told her kids last year and then miscarried and her 5 yr old was devoustated about couldn't comprehend it and started blaming himself. He asked her if the baby would still be in her tummy if he hadn't been naughty. Bless him! This time I am going to hold off until I get the all clear from the obst. I have my first appoint on the 24th of Nov and I am guessing a scan won't be far after that and then we will tell the kids. I would love to tell them now though!! it's killing me waiting sad

The only person I have told is another Mum who I still keep in contact with from Huggies. I met her through these forums when we were pregnant with our daughters. She only lives in the next suburb so we catch up from time to time. I know she won't tell anyone. I am thinking about telling a good friend of mine tonight because we are going shopping just us. I havn't decided yet..but she has gone through everything herself and would be a good support.

Have fun telling everyone though!! I can't wait to!!

Hi everyone - I suppose I can join this thread too. I have just found out that I am pregnant with baby number five. I already have a 5 year old, a 4 year old, a 21/2 year old and a just turned one year old. Was a planned baby - this will definitely be our last - happened in the first month of trying so still trying to think about how I will manage but I am sure that I will be fine. Congratulations on all those with BFP especially those that have taken a while to get them - awesome news.

Can't wait to share this journey with you all.

I am a stay at home mum and love it - haven't done paid work for almost 6 years (definitely worked though!!!!!!!).

Morning slingshot- yay! Another one having number 5!! But my hat goes off to you yours are still so young. I am lucky in a sense as I have DS1 is 14 DS2 is 12 DD is 10 andDS3 is 6. Not saying teenagers are any easier but I have a couple helping hands. This will be DP first baby but we were child hood sweethearts that have rekindled the flame. Have always wanted his baby.

If my boobs weren't so sore and I didn't stop peeing I still wouldn't believe it has finally happened!
How is everyone else feeling? Still nothing for me- in sure the bucket is a couple weeks away but :-$


Question- when would you tell siblings that your pregnant?? I think my DD has an inkling as she found some tests. And has anyone told many people yet? My DP wants to yell it from a mountain cause he always thought he wouldn't be a daddy. I have told couple close friends that have been following our IUI journey with me.

Congratulations on baby number 5 Slingshot- fantastic!! I love big families and you are a superstar having them all so close together, they will grow up being great mates! I too stay home with the kids and have been for 6 years with no plan to return until they are all at school full time.

Kristy, I have only told my Mum, sisters and telling DHs parents today. I think if I were to miscarry I would want their support, I dont think I could hide the fact that we were pregnant and lost it, they would think something was really wrong if I were suddenly withdrawn and devastated. We will tell the rest of the world and my kids at 3 months and be in a more safe zone then :)How exciting for your partner hun his 1st baby, cant blame him for just wanting to burst with happiness!
I am very nervous, and scared of losing this one as we lost one in July.

i already have a girl who will be 4 next yr and a son who will 3 next yr too. both were born close together only 11.5 months difference and im so glad i did have them close cause they are the best of mates. even though my family didnt really have anything to do with me until after he was born my partner and i raised both of them with out anyones help. i dont care what we have this time as long as it is healthy i will be happy. seen the doc today and im currently thinking i might rechoose my doc. he was great last time with my son's pregnancy but this time i just dont feel that connected to him. i havent had morning sickness yet (didnt have it the last two times either), but man is my hip and lower back so sore already. i hope it doesnt get any worse cause i wont be able to work like this and still be able to run a orchard, a house and look after the kids as well as the animals. we are still getting used to the idea of having three kids but it is great to finally be able to say that once this pregnancy is over i will be glad.


we have already told the kids we are having another one and they are over the moon. cause this is our last one we are doing things different. we arent letting the docs push us around nor the midwifes. i cant wait for the 12 wk scan as that is when we are going to tell everyone that we haveing another which should be around christmas.

I chickened out and didn't tell my friend last night :/ my hubby really wants to keep it a secret so i thought i better not...but then we i got home he was shocked that I didn't tell her because he knew i wouldn't be able to keep a secret. pmsl So I am going to tell her tomorrow when we go out for dinner. lol Crazy I know!

I actually brought another pregnancy test today...only for the fact that I used the Clear blue digital test and the battery has gone flat or something and now you can't see that im pregnant sad I really like to keep the tests as a momento in a keep safe box and now it doesn't say anything. How silly! So now I brought a regular one with lines so that I can keep it. lol

I have also had a little bit of a sore back but i've barely stopped all week so i probably just need to take it easy a little.

i am still getting over the fact that im going to have a baby hopefully. how is everyone else? im tired and sore. really sore. i was going to tell my best friend the other day but thought that i would wait unitl xmas so i can tell everyone and show them the scan too. hopefully we can get one before xmas will know this month i guess. hope everyone is well kay

Just found out on the weekend that I am pregnant with #2 and should be due around early July.

Will make an appointment to see my Doctor next week and hopefully arrange for a dating scan a few weeks from now. =)

Still getting used to the fact that I am indeed pregnant again, but am very excited. Definitely pregnant though, the 2nd on the test was super dark before the control line had time to appear!

I am really hoping to have my first scan before Christmas too. I don't know if my Ob will do a dating scan when I go and see him on the 24th or if I will just wait till the Trans Nuec scan but hopefully that will be done before Christmas anyway. I would like to see the heart beat and know all is well before Christmas. That way I can just rest easy and enjoy it. I have been a little anxious and am looking forward to hearing the all clear.

I told my friend on Sat night and I think she is more excited than I am. pmsl I'm definitely excited but i'm also in the shocked/am i really pregnant?/worried stage too. lol She said she sat up chatting to her husband about it till past midnight because she was so excited! lol She is very sweet...her poor hubby though. lol She really wants no#4 too so I am hoping she won't be far behind me! wink I think she is going to find it harder to keep a secret than I am. lol
