We already have a DS so this bub is #2 and will be due July 3rd.

Hay there, I just got my BFP this morning!
My name is Kylie and Im 25 from Perth.
I already have
DD almost 4
DS 2.5 yrs
DD 12 mnths
So another little boy would just be the icing on the cake. Looks like Im due July 4th, but that will probably change. Took me 3 mnths of TTC this time around. My other 3 were all in the 1st month. How long did it take you to fall pregnant this time?

Congrats on your BFP, its so exciting, I'm hoping for a little girl as I already have a boy but I'm happy with either, I love being pregnant its the best.
It also took me 3 months to conceive which was the same with my son.
Well good luck with everything.

Had my blood tests on Friday and the person was not very gentle, I have a massive bruise on my arm.

Great to hear your BFPs . I think I will be Due in 1st July.

I have DS 21 months. I had a m/c in july so I guess i have been ttc 3 months since then.

I will go to blood test this week. only used hpt so far.

Lets hope we all have sticky babies!

Goosmum mum, excellent news on that BFP! Was your first bub early or late? Im the 4th July so Ill probably go June as Ive had my other 3 a week early.
What do you girls get bloods done now for? My 1st bloods have always been at 10 week mark to go with the nuchal scan. Are you guys booking in for a dating scan ( 7/8 wks)?
Usually I do, so Ill probably go to the drs in a fortnight or so to get referral.

I get my bloods done early cause I have had 2 eptopics. If the level stays low for a week or so there is a chance it may be again. they can't detect it on ultra sound before week8-9 and if we find out early I have a better chance of keeping my tubes.

I am going to see if I can get my progesterone level checked as well. This may be my reason for many m/c.

No real symptoms yet. maybe a bit of m/s and stronger sense of smell.

hi ladies my name is Sarah i am 25 i have a ds he is 7 and a dd she is 2.I got my bfp on the 21st of October but i then had my hcg levels done on Thursday and they are at 21 so i had more bloods done today and i get those results 2morrow i have no idea of my due date but something is telling me July 5th im hoping this is a sticky bubba all the best

No real news to report here. Told the other half last night, so I give him maybe 1..2 days? till everyone knows. It makes for a long pregnancy when he cant keep his mouth shut!
Whens everyone one spilling the beans, I dont think I coul ever wait 12 weeks though.

Sarah Im glad your bloods came back with a rise. Me, Ive never tested my HCG levels so I dont really know what having 120 means! Could the doc give you a rough guess on that alone? Does it correspond with being 5 weeks or does he think you conceived later? Time will tell anyway wont it when you get that ultrasound:)
Ive always had an 8 week u/s and they always chuck me back a week in EDD but then I go on to have the bubs 1 week early. I wish they would leave my EDD alone! Thats why I think I might just wait to the 12 weeker..lets see if I change my mind!

When I was pregnant with my son I started showing at 6 weeks this time I've noticed it is already swelling at 4 weeks. I've been told that it happens quicker second time round is this true??

I have booked for my u/s next wednesday. My second blood thursday. It is a hectic pace all these tests.

Wow 3 weeks early, I imagine that would be quite scary actually, were you prepared?
Pinn7907- Your tummy muscles will be all nice and loose now, but ur uterus wont reach above ur pelvis until the 12th week.
I start to show enough between the 3rd and 5th month that people ask me if I am preggos then.
Personally, I was bigger with my 1st. With 2 and 3 I had a smaller belly, so if you get bigger with each one its just by chance

i had just removed the visitors from Christmas and was preparing for the next lot to arrive for mum and dads 50th wedding anniversary that Sat. Waters broke 2am Tuesday morn. labour started 5.30 and Goo arrived 10.10pm.

No I wasn't ready. I planned to have a rest after the 50th party as i was deep into organising.

I am still trying to catch up 21months later!! LOL.

Best of luck for the next 8 months or so ladies!!! My baby was due on the 23rd of July this year ...... she arrived on the 31st, just making it as a July baby!!! So exciting, I remember this time last year for me!!!

is anyone planning to go private? Im fromPerth so I just go to Joondalup which is 5 mins down the road. Ive got the cover but I dont use it as Im low risk. Before Ive always done the shared care with the drs surgery. I go in sometime around 25 weeks for my booking in at the hossy but then dont see them again till 36 wks. I think I will go fulltime to the clinic at the hossy this time though, at the drs I dont get the heartbeat done or even touched for that matter, its just on the scales and out the door- quite impersonal!
Just wishing time would hurry up or something really!M/s still not here just trying to stay awake:)

I will be going public as I did with my son, didn't really have to much trouble in the public system even after all the bad stories u hear.
My last pregnancy was I high risk pregnancy from 27 weeks as I kept ending up in hospital with preterm labour....so no doubt they will class this one as high risk also.

Hi Ladies.
I'm happy to report that I'm joining this group. I have a DD 10.5 months, and we had a missed m/c in July at 10 weeks, and just got confirmation that we are pregnant again. At this stage I am due on 9th July (which is poignent as that's the date I had my d&c this year) ... so its all a little exciting. It will be great telling everyone over Xmas that we are pregnant again.

Im also going public but i have no idea what hospital i am going to we moved 4o mins away from the hospital were i had ds and dd and teh local hospital may not take me as i have high risk pregnancy with ds i have pre eclampsia (sp) and dd decided she would stop growing i was in and out of hospital for weeks then they induced me at 36 weeks and she was hypoglycemia and i had strep b and she was in special care for 3 weeks and at the moment my bp is high at 140/98 so i hope i go on some meds soon to keep it down

Sarah- youve got dramas dont you! As lucky as I am nothing like that happens to me. I just cruise into hospital, have a baby and a couple of hours later leave! Your DD was in s .care for 3 weeks, was that anything to do with strep b?
With only the 3rd preg I had strep B but I didnt get meds, bub was fine, but I hear they can get sick??

i know i have rocky but quick labours with ds i went for a normal appointment then they booked me in and i had him the next morning at 10:54am and waters were broken at 8am

with dd they treated her as if she got the strep b infection even though i had the antibiotics so she was on antibiotics for 10days she was in a incubator cause she had low sugar levels and could not breath propally and then she didn't want to feed so had to be tube fed was so hard going to the hospital all day and look after a 4 year old so hoping this is a smooth sailing pregnancy..


And both were Drug free im amazed i did it but glad cause i remember every moment and every bit of pain but saying that if i was in strong labour for hours i would have

Congrats to those that have joined its good to see some more BFP. Not much to report here really, Going to see my midwife on the 24th Nov so 4weeks time. Also had some bloods done yesterday and waiting to get the results back as i have problems with my thyroid when pregnant so be interesting to see if it plays up again. Man i have got a terrible back ache does anyone else have the same problem?
