Hi All

I am trying to find something to buy my 7 month old (who will be 10 months old) for Christmas. What is everyone else buying?

if i had my time again lol i would have got ds one of those educational activity tables and a 3in1 convertible trike they would of been great for him at that age smile

ohhh there is sooo much!!! we got bubz a dora beach set of toys and had a ball, some fisher price toys, a little baby dressing table that she loves, and some clothes and a pink santa hat and im sure other bits and pieces i cant remember!

DS will also be 10 months at Christmas. I got him this great three stage trike that he can use from 10 months. I also got him some other toys and some clothes.

Depends on how much you want to spend. I would get something he can grow into as they get lots of baby toys and grow out of them sooo fast.

Fisher Price Little People are great

A small inflatable or plastic clamshell pool

Trampoline (DD1 got rectangle one for her 2nd Christmas - we left the legs off so it sat 15cms off ground - she loved it. Round ones with safety nets are great too but its too windy at our place, ours flew out of the yard gasp )

A push-along trike

A swingset (got one for DD1 for her first Birthday has been great - just got a new one from A 2 Z online, they have great factory seconds for $100, ours was basically perfect)

Fisher Price baby swing (hang from swingset/verandah/indoors)

DS will be 6mths at Christmas and we are getting him a Little Tikes Water Table. LT toys last forever - he can grow into it and DD1 & DD2 will use it too.

When my twins had their first Christmas, I got them each a set of beach toys and a big spotty inflatable pool to share. They also got a MASSIVE stocking each- this was very cute as I put them both inside their stockings, and took plenty of pictures! Also got them a collection of board books, a couple of educational toys and a cute mini xylophone!

Depending on when their birthday is I often buy presents that they will grow into in the next few months (6 mths). Often if you buy something now that they would like or use they have outgrown it (mentally and physically) after only a few weeks.
