Feeding 4month old cat food

I've heard of someone feeding their 4month old cat food, one of the meat pouches. I think its discusting and shouldnt be allowd. It might not be completely harmful (although the babies young age may mean its more so than to an adult).
Anyone have any thoughts to share on this?

If you are and you know the person I would suggest you tell them to stop I mean it's one thing to feed your child then your child getting into it
