breast/bottles when to drop Rss

hi guys, just wanting to know what everyone else has done or is doing in terms of feeds. my boy is nearly 1 and has a morning, afternoon and night bottle still. i am in the process of cuttng out his 3pm bottle and replacing it wiht a snack. when do you cut out his morning and just before bed bottles. i know some people say breast fed babies sometimes ween themselves by 12mths, so does that mean they go onto just cows milk in there food and no bottles or do you introduce formula. also stage 3 formula is it nessesary or do you just cut the bottles out and give milk in food or as a drink. sorry so long a question but im quite confused as to what to do. ps my little boy is a good eater and has been for a long time.
When both my girls were around 12 months (DD1 was FF, DD2 was BF) they were mostly on solids. DD1 went down to 2 bottles (morning bottle & night bottle) and DD2 was 2 small BF morning & night & a cup of milk before her daynap.

Too much milk can fill their tummy's up so they're not as hungry to eat solids, and the calcium in the milk can decrease the absorbtion of iron. I THINK they recommend not exceeding 600mls a day.

Step 3 formula isnt necessary. They do have added vitamins etc, but arent necessary unless your bub doesnt eat solids well. The Step 2 Formulas have far more nutrients than most step 3's anyway. I'd just stick with cows milk.
Also at around 15-16 months both my girls cut down to 1 cup of milk a day. We stopped using bottles around the 12-13 month mark for DD1.
thanks that gives me a guide
When I cut out the morning BF and gave my kids a sippy cup of cows milk with their breakfast from around 12 months.

I replaced the night BF with a cup of milk too but DD1 was never interested and went to bed without a milk drink. DD2 is 15 months and I just weaned her 2 weeks ago and she gets her own bottle (with a spout not a teat) out of the fridge herself after her bath.
