Fussy Eater 9 months
My daughter is 9 months old & has become a very fussy eater. I have been giving her vegies at lunch time as she wasnt eating them for tea, she has been eating them up until now. Just wondering if anyone has any tips that i could try to get her to eat her vegies.
Grate veggies into spag bol, hamburgers.
Zucchini slice has a few in it.

What vegies are you giving her?
i was going to say just boil some vegies then puree them . with some pureed sausage or another meat something else to take the flavour of the vegies . Just a thought even custard and pureed apple and other pureed vegies might help .

potato, sweet potato, spinach, broccoli, peas, carrots, squash, pumpkin, zucchini, have tried putting pureed fruit in with them & grated meat. (if i give her Rafferty's Garden anything she will eat that, i have found though when she eats it she has trouble pooing).

mmmmm... Maybe don't puree them start start giving them to her in little cubes. People say to give them cooked and cut into long fingers but I found with my girl that she would try and put the whole thing in her mouth so I gave them to her in little peices and she was fine.
Pumpkin and carrot were her fav smile

she has homemade yoghurt & custard made out of formula.
i pureed the fruit & mixed it in to see if made a difference. I mash the veggies might give the cubes ago as she likes to put the whole thing in her mouth aswell.

I have a 10 month old DD and she is not a fussy eater at all. We did baby led weaning with her from 5 and half months - no purees, just finger foods and we eat most meals together and we eat the same things. I would try giving your little one finger foods and let her be in control or at least let her have a go at feeding herself. Make sure you are set up for the mess though wink
