Just wanting some help here Rss

My wee girl is 4 months and I am in a sort of routine but I'm not strict about it and I'm just wondering about getting into a proper routine.

Those of you that have a routine - are you strict?
do you have feeds and sleeps at exactly the same time each day?
do you wake them up to start the routine in the morning?

Also wondering about her night feeds, should I be letting her cry a bit and see if she goes back to sleep before getting her up or is she too young for that?

thank you people!
Being a bit flexible with routine, will make for a less stressful mummy... just go with the flow. You will have a vague idea of what your bubba is requiring at each stage, as by now you should know their crys for different things.

I use a routine of, sleep, wake, feed, play, feed, sleep and that goes round and round.... feeds turn from breastfeeds to morning tea when they get older with water offered as well as bf-ing (my ds's self wean around 10/11 months)
Never wake a sleeping babe.smile that motto has always worked for me.
You can try to leave her, but to be honest I demand feed even overnight till bub went on to solids (5/6 months) then tried to leave them a little if they had had a good dinner and decent feed before bedtime... around 9 months I stop feeding overnight and start offering water only and a change of bum if they wake, the night waking soon decreases or stops as whats the point of waking if you dont get a breastfeed or bottle of warm milk... so most of my babes have slept for longer periods if not through the night properly from 9 or 10 months onwards (excluding teething pain or being ill)

good luck
Lottie
