I've got a 2 door hatchback (so not convenient!) Was wondering if anyone knows of a good carseat thats good for a car like mine? I've got a 5 month old daughter so has to be convertible for rearward facing. Most car seats out there are soo beasty! Looking for something petite lol. So if anyone could help, it would be great. Don't really want to be trying lots of car seats out at the shop. Thanks in advance! smile

Do you have a local shop that sells them, like a shop that only sells baby stuff? If you do you can ask them and they will be able to help out. I asked our local one whether I could fit two booster seats either side of my baby seat in the back of my car and they were great - they advised I would if one of them was the slimline version and the 3 seats fit perfectly! Or you could ring them if you can't get to them maybe?

Look for European brands because in Europe everyone drives smaller cars, so they make the seats smaller to fit them. I drive a small car and I have a Phil & Teds seat (even though it is an NZ brand they design their products for the European market) and it fits just fine.

Hi there, are you in NZ if so I highly recommend the sunshine kids radian xtsl, they have it on the bumbles website and kiwibaby website. It rearfaces to 20kgs, and forward faces with 5 point harness till 36kgs. the base is very slim and apparently you can fit 3 in the backseat of a car, so they are nice and slim.
