Thanks that's what I do with his bottle just swap it to zippy cup
Which one better to get him to use first sippy. Cup ((with holes ). Orsippy cup with straw. ?????
What does he usually drink his water from? Have you tried a cup before with no luck or just yet to try? I would just put one on his highchair when he's eating a meal and see how you go. Maybe hold it up to his mouth so he knows there's water in it...

probabaly just a regular sippy cup because he is used to having to tip his bottle up to get the water out and to make it easier take the spill proof stopper out so it just tips out

Yes stoppers are out. smile
Yeah gave it a go months ago didn't take to it.
This time I'm not giving up

they are hard to drink out of with stoppers have you ever tried it?
DS got some sippy cups for christmas and they are almost impossible to drink out of cause there non spill
and if they dont have stoppers they help them learn the controll they need to use a normal cup

yes i think you should

I give DS a selection, he drinks out of a travel mug, a non spill bottle (no stopper but will only flow if pressed) and a regular cup, the reg cup can get messy if he decides to hold it himself but I figure its summer so he won't be cold if covered in water.
i agree with the others. definately start with a normal sippy cup (not the non-spill or the straw ones) and begin with water so any spills arnt sticky and wont stain.
when i started my kids with a sippy cup id give it too them with each meal and i put my drink in one too so thay could watch how mummy does it and copy. they picked it up very quickly and then i oviously went back to my normal glass lol.
and honestly the best sippys ive used are the plasic 'disposable' ones you can get from the supermarkets. they come im packs of about 6 and the flow is really good.

That's great news! Well done mummy and Casey!
I prefer sippy cups because the straws are a pain to clean.
If he's used to tipping the cup a sippy cup is best as he won't get anything if he uses a straw cup and tips it!
