My 19 month old daughter, has suddenly stopped going to sleep on her own. I used to be able to put her into bed, after story time, give her, her bottle and she could go to sleep on her own, sleeping the whole night in her bed. Now, she won't go to sleep on her own, she wants me or my partner to stay in the room and pat her to sleep if we don't she screams hysterically (like her leg is being amputated) sometimes until the point where she vomits. And she will wake up normally between 11 and 12, sometimes she will go back to sleep with a water bottle, but only normally for an hour or so, and then she will be awake screaming again. I'm at my wits end, as I have a 5 month old also, and I am completely exhausted. Do I just put all of this down to teething, as I have felt her mouth and her gums right at the very back on the bottom are quite swollen. I have tried :- amber teething necklace, dymadon, teething gels, weleda teething powder, you name it, I have tried it for her. She is grumpy in the day, and now, she won't even go down for her day sleep on her own. She used to sleep for 2 hours through the down, now it is only 40 minutes. Any help or advice would be so helpful.
