Hi,

Yes were going through this atm. Michael had a tooth come through at 12 weeks and 3 weeks later it has gone back down again! I felt so bad when I couldn't work out y he was soo grizlly for a couple of days. I never thought to check for a tooth at only 3 months : (
aww sad
poor thing! how's he handling it?
Bella has got 2 teeth now ( 2nd came at 3 and a half months) and is still having a bit of trouble as she has 4 more slowly coming through sad

Weve had no luck with the tooth actually coming through yet! it came back up and went down again : ( he's finding it painful and is always trying to stick his whole hand in his mouth. If it gets really bad I give him panadol or make his dummy cold for him. My poor little guy
I think my little girl is 13 weeks now and getting her first tooth too but she isnt quite old enough to grab things and keep them in her hand so I cant give her anything to chew, she keeps knawing at her hands and Im not sure about that, did anyone else have this problem???

My eldest daughter cut hers at 3 months.

My 12 week old daughter cut her first tooth last week! And its a bottom canine! so totally out of order, she is teething really bad and has very swoolen and red gums. Started very early sad

Mum to Campbell (7) Kaitlyn (2) and Pippa (newborn

Hi Emskie31 : )
yep I had this problem too. Sometimes I would just just hold a teething ring up to his mouth for him or give a cooled dummy (if your happy to give a dummy) there's not much else you can do (sorry) but at 4 months they can have Bonjela which may help a little bit.
My Daughter is only 2 months and already has two teeth.(just broke through a week ago sad)
i was just abot to ask this exact question!!!! my son will be 10 weeks on thursday and i think he is teething.... all the teething signs,,, grumbly, swolen gums, drooly... was thinking this can not be possible, but after reading this, i'm convinced he is.... will keep an eye out for teethies....

Hi All,

My little girl Bree who is now 4 months is teething. The same it is the canines 3 of them coming through. But I have a feeling that they moving up and down which makes it worse. She is pretty clingy but not to bad and still sleeps all night.
I wasn't to sure but now that I have read the other forums it makes a bit more sense.
Narelle

ps my son didn't get them until he was 8 months old....
hello,
my little boy (now 3 months) cut his first tooth at 9-10 week sold. it was his fruit tooth. the second fruit tooth came into the gum last week but has goen up again. i found it hard when hes teething as hes not old enough to chew on teethers..i juz numb his gum with sum ice!!

hey all,
what is a fruit tooth sorry??
Belle's going good with her 2 teeth and had relief for a little while but for the past month her teething has become much worse, she's now 5 and a half months and holds her own teething ring etc, but those sort of things can only do so much as she's getting 6 teeth! Believe it or not. Pamol doesn't do much to help now but we are finding new things that are helping, but it's so hard on her sad and you feel so helpless because of al the pain they're going through at such a young age sad

numbing gums with ice?
does that work well?
I'd be a bit scared to do that lol

my daughter got her first 2 bottom teeth at 13weeks - now at 9months she has 7 teeth - she'd prolly have 8 (4 top and bottom) but she may have a health disorder which means she only has one single front tooth in the exact midline of her mouth - all i want is for another front tooth to cut thru but does'nt look like happenning
when she's older and loses her baby teeth will 2 come through instead of one?

My son Hunter is only 8 and a half weeks old and is already cutting his first tooth. Back, top gum, which I think is wierd...but I guess all babies are different and there is no right or wrong time for any milestone =)
My sons been showing all the signs of teething (is 13 weeks old) but the nurse told me that there was no way he could be getting teeth this early. Im glad after reading this post that it is possible. Hes crying non stop, chewing on fist or anything you put near him, drooling, gone off his food a bit today, and his gums are swollen. Reillys usually so good natured and placid, I want my little man back!
Yep, my son is 3 months tomorrow and I found his first tooth coming through today. He has been grizzly since Monday, non stop drooling for about a month, tries to chew everything and hasn't been sleeping through since Monday. It isn't the usual first tooth either, it's one on the bottom left, not the canine ones, not sure what it's called. Hoping it hurries up and cuts through or goes back down, poor little man

Hi My first daughter had her first teeth at 3 months with no issues at all, I also had my first teeth at 3 months as well as my mum.
So family link for us.
Second daughter had them later and have effected her a lot.
Gopod luck
My second child had a tooth come through at five weeks old. The doctor told me it was a milk tooth and said its not uncommon for teeth to come through that early, some babies are even born with teeth already broken through the gums.
To those who have all teething symptoms, but no teeth yet...

My DD started teething around 3mths (drooling chewing on fist swollen gums etc), but didn't actually cut her 1st tooth till 11.5 mths. SHe turns 1 in 2 days and only has her 2 bottom teeth.

Thankfully she wasn't too bad when she cut her teeth, but we had some days where she was so miserable. I could see the teeth, but after a few days they would dissapear again...

I dont know whats better the long drawn out process or what you guys are going through at 3mths!

same as my little boy he got his first bottom one when he was 3 months 3 weeks old then the next day the next bottom one then the top two side ones next to his top two middle one and then one of his middle ones got al 3 top ones in one day so by 5 months had 5 teeth
not even grizzley at all still sleeping 12 hours straight at night!!smile
My daughter who is now 2 and a half started teething at 10 weeks and had her first tooth at 17weeks. She had all of her teeth including her 2 yr old molars at 18 months. She cross cut and didn't get them in the recommended order.

My son who is currently 15 weeks was born with swollen gums. At 4 weeks we could see two teeth on his bottom bums, one on either side of the middle two. They still haven't cut but are getting whiter and more visible every day so hopefully they will cut soon.

With my daughter we used nurofen, panadol never worked for her. Nurofen can be used from 3 months. We also used Womens and Children Teething gel. Can be purchased from the childrens hospital in Sth Aust, but other childrens hospitals may have the same thing??? It was brilliant, and we used it all the time as nothing else worked for her. Goos luck everyone
I know how you feel my little girl was born with her 2 bottom teeth and was teething straight away which made it worse seeings we could not give her panadaol or teething rings because they were too big for her mouth . i just think that it is 2 less teeth i am going to have to worry about when the others start coming through
