When the best time is to put my daughter into a big bed?

Can you please tell me when the best time is to put my 2 & half yr old into a big bed as she is still in a cot.

Answer: Hi Nicole,
We made a great fuss about going into the big bed on my sons 3rd birthady. We had it all prepared for a couple of weeks before and told him it will be his treat for his birthday and he loved it, a bit like counting the days to Xmas!
