Answer: Hi,
They are at an age where you can talk to them and you know they can understand so you need to make it very clear what you need to happen. You know when my oldest boy was 7 he was still waking 3 to 4 times a week and calling out `MUUUM come in my bed` and I would get up and go (he fell asleep with me in the bed so would look for my comfort when he woke). One morning my husband said to him, “You know what mate it`s not nice that you wake mum up every night calling out to her”. He said “Oh ok” and never called out again! Sometimes we just need to make it clear to children that it`s NOT ok and set the boundaries, children thrive on this.

Even if a bit of bribrey has to come into play, the one to stays in bed the longest gets a great treat, it can`t hurt.

Best of luck!
