Hi Elaine,
Firstly it is essential that she fall asleep in her cot initially on her own so she can learn to sleep independently otherwise she will continue to wake looking for your comfort to return to sleep. Controlled comforting techniques are hard to do but if you undertake the program you need to be consistent for all sleeps and it takes persistence. You would also need to stop offering this comfort feed when she wakes as it has become her sleep association.
You can get details for our settling program from “Your Baby`s Sleep` or from ”http://www.itstimetosleep.com/" target=“_blank” title=“www.itstimetosleep.com”>www.itstimetosleep.com
