Solids is such a great time! If you believe that your baby is ready for solids then that is fine, look for the signs of readiness:
- Showing interest in food (for example reaching out not necessarily just watching you put it in your mouth, at the end of the day everything in a babies life goes in your mouth, and also chomping motions like eating).
- Baby can sit and hold her head up and grasp an object.
- Baby’s tongue protrusion has stopped (so she no longer pushes her tongue, which means she will be able to swallow rather than suck).
I have a tip sheet and fridge chart on solids on Huggies if you wanted to read a little more the links are:

Which foods when and fridge chart
All the best with it, have fun!
