I would really recommend popping into see your child health or plunket nurse about this. Solids aren’t recommended until at least 4 months but preferably at about 6 months. Solids aren’t able to provide the right balance of nutrients to very young babies, so if bub is showing signs of hunger it is ideal to offer more bottle feeds. I know now you may be finding it hard to get baby to take the bottle but it is so important that she gets all the nutrients she needs in order to grow well, there is still plenty of time for solids, it is a great time, but may be a little early as yet to continue with it.

So just pop into the nurse to have baby`s weight etc checked and discuss this with your nurse in more detail so she can help get baby back on track with her milk feeds.
